21 year old lady has met her untimely death after she was poisoned by her boyfriend at sowutuom in Accra.
A report from the family sighted by Thrillernewsgh.com indicates that Vera Adu went unconscious after drinking a concoction given to her by her boyfriend.
She was rushed to the Lapaz Community Hospital on August 21, 2019 but later gave up the ghost.
The father of the deceased narrating how it all happened, noted the suspect has be in relationship with her daughter for about five months.
On that fateful day her daughter was poisoned, they went out and returned together in the afternoon. After resting for 30 minutes, the boyfriend called Vera’s little brother and gave him a bottle to dispose.
Some few minutes later, he left the house leaving Vera in the room which after some time, Vera called one of her brothers for help because she was feeling weak. She was rushed to the hospital and report was made to the police.
The boyfriend was subsequently arrested by police for giving concoction to his girlfriend.
No one knows what kind of concoction he gave to Vera but reports from some social media users suggests he intentionally poisoned her girlfriend for cheating on his girlfriend
Meanwhile Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Favour Ackon-Fletcher, has confirmed the incident and disclosed that the suspect was in custody assisting in investigation.
